Because the AR coating on laser rods can wear over time and with use, refurbishing the rods is a normal part of equipment maintenance. By resurfacing laser rods, we are able to provide a valuable service in protecting your investment and saving money when compared to new equipment purchases.
How Long Does It Take?
Unfortunately, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, there is an extended lead time for all rod rework. Lead times vary between 20 – 35 weeks depending on the type of rod and the condition. If you need service immediately, we recommend purchasing a new rod and sending out the bad one to be used as a back up for future use.
